Madhye is a multimedia performance integrating real-time video animation with live electronic music and choral performance. Presented as part of the semi-theatrical concert Void, the piece explores the dynamic between individuality and collectivity—tensions of “person vs. group” and “fusion vs. disunion.”
Inspired by the Sanskrit word Madhye, meaning “between” or “within,” the work juxtaposes structured visual and sonic archetypes with evolving inner variables. These transformations highlight the fluid spectrum between difference and unity, expressed through shifting textures in both sound and image.
Designed with Zen aesthetics and interactive lighting, Madhye creates a contemplative space where Eastern and Western traditions meet contemporary media art.
